About chatprisma

chatprisma shows you the statistics behind a WhatsApp conversation: who talks most, who takes longest to reply, who starts conversations, when people write, and which words they repeat.

Why it exists

Tools that do this usually ask you to upload your chat to a server. A conversation spanning years holds names, phone numbers, addresses, and things said in private — there's no reason for that to travel anywhere just to count messages.

chatprisma does the math in your browser. There's no server receiving the file because there's nothing to send.

How it works

The .txt file WhatsApp exports is read with browser APIs and processed in a Worker, on your own device. Results appear on screen and disappear when you close the tab. No accounts, no signup, no database.

You can verify it: load the page, disconnect from the internet, and upload your file. It works the same.

Who built it

Built by Iván Kraselnik, a full-stack developer. It's an independent project with no team or company behind it.

How it's funded

The site is free and shows ads. Ads are served by a third party and have no access to your chat contents: the file never leaves your browser.
